We sure miss you Uncle Jimmy!

 

There is a G.W. Carver street here in Dunnellon and I have wondered whether or not he had some connection with the town at all.  I could imagine that he would as the area was originally settled by freed slaves and there was a George Washington Carver Elementary School in nearby Crystal River years ago.
For some reason I have been thinking about ole George and our shared love of and connection with the green world of plants and plant medicine alot lately.  I sure wish I could have met him and want to learn even more about this amazing soul.
