Crystal River Florida Beach...4 months

Yesterday after realizing that it was the 4 month anniversary of the passing on of my Mother, I decided to go out to the coast and spend some more much needed alone time.  I had it alone to myself for nearly an hour when I met a couple from the Netherlands.
Beaches will forever be a place where I will feel close to my Mother as she loved the ocean and shorelife so very much , considering the few times in her life that she was able to see it.
There were hundreds of this type of bird that I have never seen before.   She would probably know it as she was the Birder in our family.   I will have to look them up.

This train depot is very symbolic to me as the whole reason we are here  in Dunnellon , Florida is  because of The New York Central Railroad.
Back in the 60's my Dads parents Frank and Noami Siemer  retired and bought a small lot here in Dunnellon across the street from my Grandpa's old railroad buddy and his wife, The Addy's.
My Grandpa , whom everyone called "Pee Wee" was a  brakeman conductor and cook on the New York Central .  Every winter they would drive down here with their Airstream Trailer and stay for the winter.  When my Dad lost his spot in his marriage to my Mother in the late 70's, he started being a "Snowbird" and migrating south every winter as well.  At one time or another, everyone in my immediate family except my Mother has lived here for a short time.
So the  Railroads brought us here and I love both of these stations. (Dunnellon picture to come).
