stuff and chaos, chaos and stuff

Since my Mom has passed on, I am faced with the monumental task of doing something with her stuff. Over the years I have struggled with my own stuff. Keeping it to a minimum, stuff I think I need. Books,rocks, art, photos,journals, plants, music, art, drums, art, tools, rocks, art supplies, seeds. The list does continue .
Dragging this stuff all over the country has definitely helped me keep it in check but over the past few years I still seem to have acquired more stuff than ever.
So now I have to decide what to give away to family and friends, what to sell in a yard sale, what to keep from my moms "collection". I have no children, so who will go through my stuff? Why are humans the only animals (besides packrats and ravens?) to gather , accumulate and transport so much stuff? Chaos.
