For the past 20 years or so Ruby has lived next door. About 3 days before my Mom passed on this past month, Ruby started hanging out in front of the door. She is still here. I am comforted by her presence.
Below is a picture that I received about a year ago of my Cherokee ancestor, James John Johns who as far as we know is buried in Sistersville, West Virginia.
What do the two have to do with each other? Nothing.
