My annual Chinese New Year Collage. I did it one night when I woke up at 2 and couldn't sleep.
This is The Year of the Snake. This one is definitely Florida inspired and inspired by the work of a 16th Century artist (Arcimboldo) who was painting things that were being brought back after the invasion of Ponce De Leon! Snakes are not evil. I will explain this collage in depth closer to Chinese New Year!
Mollie Does the Manatee Festival

A few days ago I had to take my Dad back to the V.A in Gainesville for a several hours procedure and I still don't know anyone that I can leave Mollie the Puppy with, so we spent part of our waiting day again on the outside (and just inside) the amazing Kanapaha Botanical Gardens there. I look forward to going there by myself at some point to really take my time and look around at this amazing place but the outside is really peaceful as well. And you can take your dog, so when she is a little older, I will take her there as well.
