Flowers Are Bursting!
Now that Ohio seems to be on a reprieve from being in a Pacific- Northwest look-alike contest, everything is bursting open everywhere in profuse and cascading colors, rippling through the city leaving a constant memory of rain.
A few days ago I thought to myself that I would be very content to just do things ( art, reading, walking, bicycling, gardening, playing and listening to music, making medicine) while writing about it and taking pictures , for well, the rest of my life. Doi.
I haven't had the time or wireless access to feed this blogthang lately but I had been finding myself just posting the flowers that I have been seeing in my world.
I have seen many, many more as I have been working in a big box store garden center, but nothing compares to coming upon a flower in the wild, on a street corner, a downtown round container/planter or in the retreat of my childhood backyard and being completely floored with awe and beauty.
I hope to post more as time allows but have always understood what Georgia O'Keeffe saw in every flower that served as a model for her paintings .
There is so much that want to write about now and hopefully it will all come through in time, if time allows.
