This stack of straw was on the side of the road leading down from Silver Falls to Sublimity.
Imagine if it was arranged in a circle 4 -5 layers tall. I just love this picture.

Dream of an Obsidian Mountain
I was visiting an old woman . She shows me about Salmon Medicine, passing out the salmon to all of the people.
I am on a giant lifeguard chair above a dark chasm of the lake/water near this mountain.
I get panicky and the chair tilts forward landing me face down in the water, chair and all.
I come back over and over for teachings from this woman. It is always dark outside in my dreams.

To this day I believe we are here on earth to live, grow,
and do what we can to make this world a better place
for all people to enjoy freedom.

I've been painting on plain ole computer paper the past few days while simultaneously doing a watercolor on canvas experiment for a hundred dollar painting. This and the Stupa CaveVision came about from this. For those of you who live in /near my beloved Redwoods, hug one for me.

At the end of this summer, working as an Interpretive Naturalist in Oregon, a fellow Interpreter showed me that if you take a Salmonberry leaf and fold over the top leaf, it resembles a butterfly. Both of these have a base in Salmonberry butterflies. Thanks Dylan!
